Training Resumes at the National Cricket Academy
The second phase of the National Cricketers’ Skills Development Camp has started at the National Cricket Academy.
This phase focuses on improving players’ skills, discipline, and match preparation.
The camp helps young cricketers build confidence and consistency for upcoming tournaments.
Daily Training and Activities
A total of fifteen players are participating in the second phase.
Each day, they take part in batting, bowling, and fielding sessions.
Trainers give individual feedback to help players improve their techniques.
The second phase will continue until June 30.
Players Participating
The camp includes several prominent players such as Aamir Jamal, Ali Raza, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Hussain Talat, Khawaja Nafi, Mehran Mumtaz, Mir Hamza, Muhammad Faeeq, Mohammad Nawaz, Mubasir Khan, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Saud Shakeel, Shahid Aziz, and Yasir Khan.
These players represent both experience and new talent, creating a competitive and energetic atmosphere.
Review Meeting of the First Phase
Earlier, the National Cricket Academy held a review meeting to evaluate the first phase of the camp.
Director of the High Performance Centre, Aaqib Javed, led the session.
Coaches attended the meeting and discussed each player’s performance.
They also planned new strategies for the current phase.
Focus on Player Development
Aaqib Javed explained that the camp aims to improve both physical fitness and mental strength.
He said that discipline, teamwork, and focus are key qualities for success.
According to him, regular training sessions build a strong foundation for Pakistan’s future cricketers.
Future Plans
By the end of the month, coaches will review player progress once again.
They will plan specialized training sessions for the next stage.
The Pakistan Cricket Board continues to support such programs to ensure a steady supply of skilled players for the national team.
