“New York: (Web Desk) Meta-owned popular messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ has introduced a new feature powered by artificial intelligence (AI).According to a technology website report, this new feature will allow users to get a summary of unread messages. Using Meta AI, this feature will provide a brief summary of unread messages in personal and group chats. Thanks to this feature, users won’t need to read long messages or scroll repeatedly to catch up on conversations. Meta claims that this feature works on “private processing” technology, ensuring the security of users’ messages and summaries. The company asserts that neither Meta nor WhatsApp has access to these messages or summaries. Additionally, AI models won’t store or learn from these summaries. This feature is optional and can be enabled by users in the “Advanced Chat Privacy” settings. Users can choose which chats to use this feature in. This feature can be particularly useful for users with busy schedules who can’t read long chats. Currently, this feature is available in the US, but it will be expanded to other languages and countries by the end of the year.”
